What is the difference between wood stains and varnishes?

Wood stains are products that penetrate the wood, forming a thin, flexible film on the surface, which allows them to adapt to the wood’s natural shrinkage and expansion, whilst still allowing it to breathe.
Wood varnishes create a protective, durable film. Thanks to its hardness and flexibility, it preserves and protects the wood for much longer.

When should I use Teak Oil?

Use it whenever you want to nourish, protect and preserve the natural look of the wood, without leaving a film on the surface. Easy to maintain, it is UV-resistant and water-repellent, making it the best solution for protecting wooden decks.

Which product is best suited to preserving the natural look of the wood?

Teak Oil. However, if you are looking for greater durability, wood stains are also a good choice as they protect, maintain and enhance the appearance of the wood, whilst keeping the grain visible.

Can I apply CIN Woodtec to interior wood?
