Description

C-POX PRIMER ZN655 is a zinc-rich epoxy primer for cathodic protection of steel structures. When combined with the proper topcoat, C-POX PRIMER ZN655 is integrated into corrosion protection paint systems for aggressive environments.

Main Features

  • Zinc content in dry film between 65 and 76% by weight, meeting the requirements of the level 3 of SSPC-Paint 20 standard
  • Easy to apply
  • Minimum overcoating time of 2,5 hours (at 20 ºC)

Preparation and Application

The surface must be dry, clean and free of dust, grease and other contaminants. Blast cleaning to Sa 2½ grade according to ISO 8501-1 is recommended. Do not apply in humid conditions and/or extreme temperatures. These indications are generic, applicable to several products and purely informative.
